DOCUMENTING HERITAGE FESTIVAL

We invite you once again this year to our 3nd "Festival of Recording of Cultural Heritage" that will take place at the "Apollon" Theater of Syros, on May 23-25, 2025.

Our Festival is a three-day celebration of saving culture. It is a pioneering Festival, the first of its kind in Greece, which will host actions and personalities from the fields of letters, sciences and arts, on the subject of recording – protecting the cultural identity of a place, in all its manifestations.

The program will include screenings, documentaries, educational workshops, music events, digital recordings, as well as parallel public awareness actions.

The main axis of the creation of the Festival is the acquaintance of those interested with the part of the activity on the preservation and promotion of cultural wealth without spatial borders. Interactive laboratory practices will create a framework for familiarization with digital and non-digital recording techniques of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

The structure of the Festival is addressed to all specialties and ages, aiming at the group cultivation of awareness and reflection on good practices and relevant applications, at local and international level.

The Festival takes place in different venues in Hermoupolis, Syros. The main screening area is the Historic Apollo Theater.

The money from the concert will be given to a charity cause
